Put simply, LAGREE FITNESS™ is the only workout that EFFECTIVELY targets your core while building muscular strength and endurance. Lagree is intense on the muscles but low-impact and safe on the joints, spine, and connective tissues. Each movement found in a Lagree class is based on the foundation of a plank, squat, or lunge, with a multitude of variations to keep your body and mind guessing. During a Lagree class, you should expect to shake, sweat, and wake up feeling the best kind of sore the next day!

  • Core Strength refers to the body’s center of power, the torso, and the ability to stabilize during movement. It incorporates the abdominals, pelvis, lower back, and diaphragm. Lagree Fitness™ focuses heavily on core stabilizing exercises that help facilitate proper alignment and posture during daily life on and off the Megaformer.

  • Muscular strength is the ability of the muscle to exert force during an activity. The key to making your muscles stronger is working them against resistance. Lagree Fitness™ integrates the key elements of resistance and counter-resistance in a sequence that allows for periods of zero gravity at peak muscle contraction, improving muscular strength.

  • Muscular endurance is the ability of the body to work for an extended amount of time. Lagree Fitness™ combines cardio and resistance training to stimulate slow-twitch muscle fibers effectively. Lagree will leave you stronger, tighter, and more toned!

The Megaformer is one of the many unique training machines designed by Sebastien Lagree.

Using two platforms, a carriage, handlebars, and springs, the Megaformer allows each certified Lagree instructor at Trim to provide a class accessible to any fitness level, age, and body type. The unique design of this Megaformer creates opportunities to work with and against the spring tension, providing more exercise options, higher intensity, extremely low impact on the joints, and faster transitions between exercises leading to improved cardiovascular benefits.
